ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: 

 

For self-identified queer people.

This class will serve as an intro to communicating via rope, technical skills, consent, body mechanics, safety and a few useful ties to get started.

Rope will be provided for all who need during class. However, you are encouraged to get/bring your own!

Couples and singles both welcome. Singles may partner up or self tie (all teaching will be adaptable for auto-bondage).

No experience necessary!

ABOUT LIV: 

 

Liv (@freaksnotcreeps) is a queer lifestyle and professional sadomasochist, practicing & playing in Brooklyn, NY. They teach and tie old school style kinbaku with a focus on building connections and playing with pain as a means to reach catharsis.

 

  

 

ACCESSIBILITY INFO: 

 

Instructed in English.

Located 1 block from the Hudson Amtrak station (a 2 hour ride from NYC Penn Station).

Entry requires a few stairs.

Masks welcomed but not required. 

Wheelchair accessible bathroom.

Vaccination and masking are encouraged. Please take a covid test within 48hrs of class. You will not need to show proof. GOODWITCH Studio will take responsibility for contact tracing if anyone in class becomes positive. Windows will be open, air filtration on, and surfaces sanitized.

WHAT YOU NEED: 

 

    • Comfortable, 

    • flexible clothing. Tight fitting will also be helpful. 

    •  

    • Rope, if you own any. Buying some is encouraged so you'll have some to work with after class. 

    • A mat or cushion for your comfort, if possible. Some mats provided, but it may be nice to have your own/something extra.

    •
